While most of the Surgery Now team are originally from Ireland, we also have staff from the UK and Spain.
Between us we can fluently speak in English and Spanish. Some of our staff have undergone their own surgeries here in Spain and are happy to share their personal experiences. We are here to answer all your questions and make your journey to Spain as smooth as possible.

Business Manager

Trish plays a key role in overseeing our day-to-day operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes. As Business Manager, she brings strong organisational skills and a practical,

solutions-focused approach to every aspect of the business. Spanish Trish is Spanish but spent many years living in the UK before returning seven years ago. Her international experience gives her a valuable perspective, helping her connect with both patients and professionals from a variety of backgrounds.

Professional, reliable, and dedicated, Trish is committed to maintaining the high standards the team is known for.

Head of Patient Experience

Keith is our Head of Patient Experience and the person most patients will first speak to when you get in touch.

Irish by background, he’s friendly, approachable, and focused on making the whole process as simple and stress-free as possible.

From the first conversation, Keith is there to guide you through your options and help you understand how access to treatment in Spain works under the EU Cross-Border Healthcare Directive.

He breaks everything down clearly, answers questions, and makes sure you don’t feel overwhelmed by the process.

He also takes care of the practical side of things — arranging appointments with specialist consultants in Spain, helping with paperwork, and organising travel details like flights and scheduling.

His goal is to take the pressure off so you can focus on your health.

Keith is known for being easy to talk to and always willing to help. He makes sure every patient feels supported, informed, and looked after from start to finish.

Patient Manager

Leanne, originally from Ireland, is our dedicated Refund Manager, ensuring that every patient receives the support they need throughout the reimbursement process. She works closely with patients to make sure all necessary documentation is accurately completed, carefully organised, and submitted to the HSE without delay.

With a natural ability to put people at ease, Leanne is known for her caring and supportive approach. She understands that navigating paperwork can sometimes feel overwhelming, and she takes pride in guiding each patient step by step with patience and clarity.

Her exceptional attention to detail, combined with her strong sense of responsibility, ensures that nothing is overlooked. Leanne’s warm personality and commitment to excellence make her a trusted point of contact for patients and a valued member of our team.

Patient Coordinator

Alex is our dedicated Pre-Travel Advisor, bringing a unique blend of English roots and extensive life experience in Spain. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is perfectly placed to support our international patients every step of the way.

Alex works closely with patients to ensure that everything is fully organised before they travel, helping to create a smooth and stress-free experience. From answering questions to coordinating essential details, she is always on hand to provide guidance, reassurance, and clarity.

Known for her approachable and caring nature, Alex is committed to making every patient feel supported and confident ahead of their journey. Her attention to detail and genuine passion for helping others make her an invaluable part of our team.

Patient Support Worker & Driver

Scott is our Patient Support Worker and Driver in Spain, and a key part of the support team for patients while they are abroad for treatment. Irish by background, he’s known for his warmth, reliability, and natural ability to put people at ease from the moment they arrive.

Often described by patients as their “rock” while in Spain, Scott provides hands-on, day-to-day support throughout their stay. He ensures patients are safely transported to and from appointments, fully supported at every stage, and never left feeling unsure or alone in the process.

Beyond transport, Scott is there to guide patients through the practical side of their journey, helping things run smoothly and making sure they always know what’s happening next. He brings a calm, reassuring presence that makes a real difference during what can be a challenging time.

With genuine care, compassion, and plenty of Irish charm, Scott plays a vital role in ensuring every patient feels looked after, comfortable, and supported throughout their time in Spain.

Social Media & Marketing Manager

Sammie is the creative force behind our online presence, working behind the scenes to make sure our story is shared in a meaningful and engaging way. She manages and creates content that showcases who we are, highlights patient experiences, and brings our success stories to life.

Originally from England and now based in Spain for over eight years, Sammie combines her strong communication skills with a natural flair for creativity. She’s passionate about connecting with people, making every interaction feel genuine, and ensuring every voice has the opportunity to be heard.

Friendly, approachable, and dedicated, Sammie plays a key role in helping our community grow and thrive.

Patient Coordinator & Pre-Travel Advisor

Hally is our Patient Coordinator and Pre-Travel Advisor, supporting patients in the lead-up to their treatment journey in Spain.

British by background, she is fluent in both English and Spanish, helping to ensure clear communication and a smooth experience from the very beginning.

Calm, collected, and highly detail-oriented, Hally takes care of all the important pre-travel arrangements, making sure every detail is in place before patients depart.

From coordinating schedules and checking documentation to answering questions, she ensures nothing is overlooked.

She also works closely with Keith on initial enquiries, as well as liaising with hospitals and clinics in Spain to help coordinate appointments and ensure everything is properly aligned for each patient’s journey.

Alongside her efficiency and organisation, Hally is known for her warm, bubbly, and approachable nature.

She takes time to listen, reassure, and guide patients so they feel fully prepared and confident before travelling.
Her focus is simple: to make the pre-travel process as seamless and stress-free as possible, ensuring every patient feels supported, informed, and ready for their journey.

Partnership Manager (Ireland)

Based in Tipperary, Ireland, Thomas leads our partnerships across Ireland, building and maintaining strong relationships with both patients and professionals. He plays a key role in expanding awareness and understanding of the EU Cross-Border Directive, helping more people access the care and support they need.

Outgoing and focused, Thomas is passionate about delivering excellent service and ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to quality and trust.
